The GNSS Positioning community has been created for GNSS/Positioning application enthusiasts, developers, makers, universities, research institutes, engineers.
STMicroelectronics is involved in Positioning applications since 1993.
The first multi-constellation receivers in the world was introduced in the market by STMicroelectronics with the Teseo II.
In 2011 ST released Teseo II, the first multi-constellation chip. Teseo II combined GPS and GLONASS in its receiver design, but was also Galileo-ready by design. Europe launched Galileo services in December 2016. The Galileo launch was a breakthrough and opportunity because it provides an Open-Service GNSS system that improves the user experience with no major added steady-state cost.
… and we improved our Teseo solution introducing the Teseo III which supports GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS constellations.
Our tiny standalone Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) module engine (Teseo-LIV3F) is the first member of the new ST’s GNSS Module portfolio.
Plenty of new family of position awareness application can be invented. Get involved, Share your idea. Together we can invent something new!
